Regional Fronts
Think Globally, Act Locally
World’s Youth for Climate Justice (WYCJ) is a global, youth-led movement of 800+ campaigners in over 50 countries, working to transform international law into a tool for ambition and accountability for climate justice. These campaigners come from all over the world, and are currently divided over five different regional fronts:
Africa Front
Asia Front
Caribbean Front
Europe Front
Latin American (LATAM) Front
A North American Front and MENA Front do not exist (yet), but individuals from these regions can still apply to become a member of WYCJ using the application form. People from the Pacific should reach out to Pacific Islands Students Fighting Climate Change.
The different regional fronts are led by a front lead, who on their turn are part of the Global Steering Committee. With this structure, we ensure that each region’s perspective is included in our global decision-making and that global plans are acted upon on a local level by members from that region!
