Keeping watch
Next to the Implementation Toolkit, we present the Implementation Tracker to collect information on efforts worldwide to implement the climate advisory opinions of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACtHR), and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS). From judgements to legislative or policy changes, we gather this information to track implementation efforts and inspire more in the future.

The Use of Advisory Opinions in Climate Litigation
Since the advisory opinions were issued, domestic and international courts alike have already cited them in their judgments. We are adding mini-briefs on such judgements to provide a quick overview of the relevant passages that include the references, so you can see how courts are using the opinions to resolve the cases before them.
