Date: 23 July 2025, 1:30 CEST onwards
Location: Carnegieplein 2, The Hague
We are approaching a truly historic moment in the fight for climate justice. On Wednesday, 23 July at 3 pm CEST / 9 am EDT, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) will deliver its much-anticipated authoritative judicial ruling on States’ obligations in relation to climate change, live from the Peace Palace in The Hague (Netherlands).
Driven by Pacific youth and small island nations, and supported by an unprecedented coalition of civil society, Indigenous Peoples and States, the World’s Court process has already made history. Now, this opinion can set a new global benchmark for accountability, inspiring stronger climate action and shaping future negotiations, policies and litigation worldwide.
We’re calling on everyone who can to join us in The Hague that day!
Let’s show the world that young people and frontline communities are watching, and are demanding bold, urgent climate action.
📢 Be there! Join us in front of the Peace Palace on July 23, and bring your friends, colleagues, and anyone you know who cares about climate justice. The more of us there are, the stronger our message will be.
